Been busy in the wood shop lately....Mostly experimenting with fins, but did find some time to put this paipo together. I just finished the rails and bottom contours (double barrel out the tail) today. In the next few days, hopefully it will be glassed and ready to go. Still debating with myself about adding fins. More pics and details as we get down to the nitty gritty.
Do you take orders for custom paipo boards? I've been trying to find someone who shapes pure wooden paipo boards and not the wood/fiberglassed ones. Please email me at jooney@hawaii.edu if you do take orders. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIve been putting fins on paipos for a while and I align the fin with the WP, they seem to work in harmony, I dont do any toe-in either.
